The Diamond Belle

The most remarkable place you will ever come home to; a place long treasured as a best-kept-secret; discover the unspoiled, unhurried charm of this paradise known as the Diamond Belle.

Surrounded by commanding mountain views and gently rolling topography, "The Belle" abuts over 75,000 acres of the Okanogan National Forest. Having all of this national forest lands available to you and your guests, gives you the feeling of a private sanctuary nestled in the beautiful Okanogan Highlands. "The Belle" a magical, harmonious atmosphere of recreation and retirement opportunities, giving you solitude and relaxation all in one. The new owner of "The Belle" will enjoy approximately 300 days of sunshine, four distinct seasons; including mild winters with just enough snow to have fun, but not stopping you from doing what you like to do.

Mystic and private "The Belle" is one of the Northwest's premier properties. You, your guests, and family will have over 75,000 acres for the Okanogan National Forest for your neighbor for one mile on your north line, and approximately 1/4 mile one your northwest side. Giving you all the privacy and recreation year-round for a lifetime.

In the turn of the century this land was chosen by a number of old homesteaders for building their homes, barns, and outbuildings of which, some are still standing today. Evidence of the "old homesteads" tell us that these families could produce their crops and live off this fertile land for many, many years.

One of the many features of "The Belle" I like best is the captivating 360° views of the Okanogan Highlands, which is surrounded by snowcapped mountains approximately eight months a year.

From the beginning, "The Belle" has had a way of captivating and delighting all those who have had the opportunity to experience her. You will have an abundance of spectacular scenery for hiking, photography, bird watching and all of your winter activities, which would include:

"The Belle" is home to it's own private "Walker Lake", approxmately 40 acres where you can fish, swim, boat, or just relax in one of the most pristine atmospheres you can imagine. "Walker Lake" is a meeting place where you and your guests can enjoy seeing deer, moose, elk, and many other species of animals, and water fowl coming to Walker Lake for their water and food source daily. Walker Lake is renown in the State of Washington as one of the finest fly fishing lakes in our state; where else can you catch a 10 pound trout, or over 80 rainbows in a weekend. (Catch and Release)

Along with the land there is a rustic lodge ready for you and your guests to use. The lodge has 10 bedrooms with electric heat, a commanding stone fireplace which sits in the middle of the lodge's Great Room, a to die for ranch style kitchen and dining room for your enjoyment. There is also a separate caretaker's home a short distance from the lodge.
